Back to School Checklist

Please take time to read this in it's entirety. 

Back-to-school checklist - All items except for the dues will have to be completed before the students will receive their schedules and chromebooks. 
1. Registration for 25-26 in Parent Portal
2. Complete the Free/Reduced Lunch Form at this link https://www.mealappnow.com/manptl
     (Make sure you list all people in your household on the form)
3. All outstanding balances are paid in full (i.e. missing chromebook charger, missing calculator, missing library book, damaged chromebook fees, etc.) 
4. Incoming 7th graders, make sure you are up-to-date on your vaccinations and you can turn your shot record in to the office.

The following items you can go ahead and do and be ahead of the game: all can be paid online or can bring cash to the HS office starting Monday 7/28/25.
1.Class dues ($30.00 each student per year for Freshmen through Seniors) Seniors will have to be paid in full ($120 for all for years) in order to graduate.
2. FFA Dues
3. NHS dues

If you are a legal driver - if your insurance and/or license has been renewed since last year, you can take a picture of them and send them to christia.mayo@petroliacisd.org or bring them into the HS office starting Monday 7/28/25. The only reason to fill out the information sheet is if you have changed vehicles since last year. You will need to get a copy from the office and fill that out. If you are a new licensed driver, you will need all three items before picking a spot and parking in the parking lot. You can start picking spots with Mrs. Mayo in the office on Monday 7/28/25.

Please read the new STATE LAW taking effect this school year - discuss this with your student and make sure they know the consequences. We will gladly give any message that you might need to go to your student. This goes for the locker rooms during athletics as well.
